  I chose this theme for my project because its a show that really stands out to me and keeps me motivated even through my severe mental health issues I've been having. I figured that if I'm going to do my work I should connect it to something that makes me happy in which this show does very well. The semiotics in the image is meant to represent the fear of being taken over by depression or anxiety or swallowed up by it, in which case happens to to will with the mind flayer taking over him, however the truly inspirational scene is when Will comes to terms with his feelings of being Gay and his connection to the Hive mind in which he turns its own power back on it and gains powers of his own.

 

 

  Concepts Life and death (I kind of combined them) I'm interested in this theme because I fear the opposite of life. This theme relates to me personally because I'm personally alive at the moment, and have a strong attachment to this world. So much so I cant fathom the thought of dyeing and disconnecting from life. I feel the challenges connected to this theme is Life can not exist without death just as death can not exist without life. Living is at the root of death as death is at the root of life. I feel the true fear of living is dyeing. Just as the fear of death is not knowing what happens afterward, have humans created religion as compensation to comfort there fear? or is there truly a god that exists with a land for the deceased. A person can be told there's a heaven after living but there's no evidence or substance to it, merely having faith. there's also the complex thought of what is labeled as truly living, there's a difference between merely being al...
